Alexandre Fafard
Born in a contractor’s family, Alexandre started working in construction very young in the family business. He studied management and in 2006 completed hi bachelor in business management at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. He also has trade certificates as a carpenter/joiner and as a steel fitter.
He now has partnered with his brother Miguel to succeed the family business – Bâtiments Kalad’art – founded in 1987 by their parents Claude Fafard and Diane Beauregard. As Business Development Director, Alexandre is the first contact person clients talk to. With a wide knowledge of the construction field he guides clients through each step of their projects until their dream comes true. He considers that a solid assessment of his clients’ needs and expectations is key to project success.
Alexandre is married and has 5 children. With his brother Miguel, he shares a unique bond in life and in their business management. They both commit to advancing their business and families education, and complete each other doing so. They will transfer their work ethics and family values to their children. Always looking for new projects and challenges, Alexandre looks out for new opportunities and maintains regular communication with his business contacts.
Miguel Fafard
Miguel graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke in mechanical engineering and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs. He’s been working in the family business in construction ever since he was a kid, and holds trade certificates as a carpenter/joiner and steel fitter. He started his engineering career in the industrial area before he joined in 2004 the company his parents – Claude Fafard and Diane Beauregard – founded. In 2009 he succeeded Bâtiments Kalad’Art with his brother Alexandre.
Miguel is the Operations Director. He guides entrepreneur clients in making their dream come true – helping to design and build their ideal building that will allow them to develop their company the way they aspire to. He ensures projects go smoothly, maintains relationships with different stakeholders, and ensures deadlines are met. His clients like and respect his ability to adapt quickly to complex situations. He is married and has three children.
